The problem isn't finding effective workers.

The real challenge is having workers you can trust. One mistake, and the entire production line is affected. For your plant to keep running, you need someone who is:

Competent

You want someone who has the necessary skills to make the right decisions.

Driven

Efficiency is also a mindset. If one member of your team is negative, your entire team will slow down.

Transparent

When something goes wrong, your employee needs to be able to identify it and find solutions.

In short, you want someone who is already employed.

That type of profile doesn't apply to job postings. They are not looking for new opportunities. That is why our approach in manufacturing recruitment is to go find them directly.

Why do companies call on us?

  • We understand their reality. We know what it takes to run a plant, and we deliver.

  • Our manufacturing recruitment covers all positions, regardless of where the plant is located.

  • Because our agency is non-exclusive. They can continue their own recruitment or work with other agencies.

  • Because we only get paid if they hire one of our candidates.

The positions we can recruit in a factory:

Production supervisor

Production supervisor

They are the conductor of the floor. Your workers can individually be very efficient, but if they have no one to direct them, or even worse, if they receive poor instructions, the final product will never see the light of day.

Electromechanical technician

Electromechanical technician

Without machinery, your workers can do nothing. A good electromechanical technician makes sure your line never comes to a stop, because every breakdown means salaries paid for nothing.

Welder

Welder

They are the artist of your line. They need to be meticulous and experienced. The quality and durability of your final product depend on your welders.

Production planner

Production planner

Wasted time is costly. Without a good planner, you will lose a lot of it. They must be able to optimize your resources to extract the most value from them. Your company can do more with less.

Machinist

Machinist

Their goal: find the missing piece in your mechanism so that your production line performs better. They make your final product more unique and faster to produce.

CNC operator

CNC operator

A good operator knows how to use your costly cutting machines to their full potential. They are the ones who optimize your investment by using it daily. From programming to cleaning your CNC, they are a one-person plant.

Frequently asked questions

How does manufacturing recruitment work for highly specialized positions?

Niche plant positions are something we recruit for year-round. There is always someone in your region who has the experience you need, who has already worked with your type of product, or who masters the specific equipment on your production line. Our manufacturing recruitment is precisely about finding that person, wherever they may be. We are not limited to candidates who are actively looking. We prospect the entire market to deliver the right profile to you.

How do you make sure the candidate adapts to your production environment?

We are not just looking for someone who is efficient on the floor. We are looking for someone who fits with your plant's philosophy. That is why our needs assessment goes well beyond the required training and certifications. We ask you questions about your company culture, the dynamics of your team, and what made previous hires fail. Good manufacturing recruitment starts with truly understanding the company the candidate is joining, not just what they know how to do.

To hire a CNC operator, what skills should you look for to protect your equipment investment?

A good CNC operator must first master the reading of technical drawings and understand the programming parameters of the machines they will be using. In Quebec, recognized training includes the DEP in production equipment operation and the ASP in CNC machine tool machining. In the field, what makes the difference is experience with the number of axes of the machine in question. An operator used to 3-axis is not automatically comfortable on 5-axis. We also validate knowledge of the programming software used in your plant, such as Mastercam or Siemens, and the candidate's ability to detect and correct an anomaly before it costs your production line.

In manufacturing recruitment in regional areas, is it possible to find qualified candidates?

Yes, and that is actually where we perform best. The majority of our manufacturing placements are done outside of major urban centers. There are competent workers throughout Quebec, and several vocational training centers are precisely established in regional areas to meet the needs of local plants. Our network covers the entire territory, and our proactive approach allows us to find the right person regardless of where your plant is located.

What is the impact of a bad hire on a production line?

A single bad candidate can slow down an entire production line, regardless of their position. A supervisor who gives poor instructions, a negligent welder, or a planner who manages resources poorly, and the entire operation suffers. On top of direct errors, a vacant or poorly filled position increases the workload of the entire team, which creates pressure, delays, and a risk of cascading turnover. Every week without the right person means money being lost. That is why we do not present just anyone to you.
